SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH How can I speak fluent English? This is one of the many questions asked by people who are attempting to conquer English as a secondary language. Here are a few tips on how you can improve your English speaking skills .
Practice is the key to fluency; practice where you can, when you can. Any practice is good, whether the person you are speaking to is native or not. It is important to build your confidence; don’t be shy. Start with simple sentences, and speak with the English that you already know. Use words and phrases that you know in new situations. Native English speaker are more likely to correct you is you use the wrong word than if you use the wrong grammar. This way of experimenting is helpful with vocabulary and is a great way to get proper feedback. Try to respond to what people say to you in English, even if the person speaking to you is speaking a different language .
Make sure your responses are as natural as possible. Often time’s people will try to translate from their own language, and this takes lots of time not to mention it makes their speech more hesitant. If you forget a word, don’t freak out, it happens all the time. Do what native English speakers do and say things that “fill” the conversation (uh, um). This is better than keeping completely silent, and at least the person will know that you are thinking about what you want to say. You can even just be honest and say, “I forgot the word” the person you are speaking to may be able to help you complete your thought .
Don’t speak too fast. When speaking fluent English having a natural rhythm is very important. If you speak too fast it will be difficult for people to understand you. Try to relax. When you speak at a normal speed you will discover that many pronunciation skills, such as linking between words will happen automatically .
Remember to speak fluent English you should : 1. More practice brings more confidence . 2. Be as natural as possible, relax . 3. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes . 4. Don’t speak too fast .

The power of seven مطالبی جالب و شنیدنی در مورد هفت های شگفت انگیز Seven Times Of The Day Here are 7 important times or parts of the day in English. MIDNIGHT
This is the middle of the night (00:00 hours). MIDDAY MORNING
This is the time from midnight to midday. AFTERNOON EVENING DAWN
This is the time when the sun rises or comes up (sunrise). DUSK Seven Aches You probably know the word "ache". It can be a verb or a noun, and means "to hurt" or "a pain". We sometimes combine the word "ache" with parts of the body. For example, if our back hurts, we say that we have "backache" or "a backache". We do *not* do this with all parts of the body. For example, we cannot say that we have a "handache". There are really only five parts of the body that we combine with "ache". They are shown below, plus two other words that we use in a slightly different way. backache
earache headache stomachache toothache heartache
We do not use this to mean a physical pain in the heart. Instead, it means an emotional pain. faceache Seven Colours Of The Rainbow Have you ever seen a rainbow? Sometimes when the sun is shining and it is rainy somewhere at the same time, you can see a rainbow. It's a huge arch of colours in the sky. It's caused by the light from the sun being broken up by water droplets in the atmosphere. The sun's light is "white", but the water droplets break it up into seven different colours, always in this order: RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE INDIGO VIOLET These colours are the "visible" part of the sun's radiation. But there are many other parts that are not visible to the human eye. For example: ultra- (prefix): beyond infra- (prefix): below Seven Meals of the DayDo you know all the words for the meals that we eat during the day? Most people probably eat about three main meals every day, but here are seven words for main and other meals that we often use: breakfast brunch elevenses lunch tea supper dinner Seven MeasurementsHere are 7 systems of measurement for things like time, distance and money. 1. Time
1000 milliseconds = 1 second (sec) Also note: People often use the following terms: 2. Distance
There are two systems for measuring distance in the English-speaking world: a) metric b) imperial/US 3. Area
Area is the extent of a surface. It is 2-dimensional. Area is often expressed using the word "square" + the distance. For example, if a room is 10 metres long and 5 metres wide, it is 50 square metres (50 sq. m). But we can also use the distance + the figure 2. Then we would write 50m2. Here are two examples: My table is 3 metres long x 2 metres wide: My town is 3 miles x 4 miles: We often measure the area of land using: There is a difference between "square metres" and "metres square". If my room is 10 feet x 10 feet, it is 100 square feet but 10 feet square. We can only say this when the length and the width are the same. 4. Volume
Volume is the amount of space occupied by an object or enclosed in a container. It is 3-dimensional. Volume is often expressed using the word "cubic" + the distance. For example, if a room is 5 metres long, 3 metres wide and 3 metres high, it is 45 cubic metres (45 cu. m). But we can also use the distance + the figure 3. So we write 45m3. Other measurements of volume are: We use litres to talk about fluids like drinks and petrol. 5. Speed
Speed is a measurement that combines distance, quantity, volume etc AND time. Common ways of talking about the speed of a car, for example, are: We also use the symbol / when talking about speed: 6. Weight
There are two systems to measure how heavy something is: a) metric b) imperial/US 7. Money
Most countries use a basic monetary unit (for example the dollar) divided into 100 fractional units (example cents). They use a combination of paper money (banknotes or notes) and metal money (coins). Here are some examples from the world's major currencies: USA: American Dollar (USD or $) UK: British Pound (GBP or £) European Union: Euro (EUR or €) Japan: Japanese Yen (JPY or ¥) Switzerland: Swiss Franc (CHF) Words like metre and litre are spelled differently in the UK and US. The British write metre, kilometre, litre etc. The Americans write meter, kilometer, liter etc. [ چهارشنبه نوزدهم مهر 1391 ] [ 18:43 ] [ علی شکوهیان ]
Differences between American and British English
Differences in vocabulary
When it comes to vocabulary, American English differ significantly from British English. Sometimes the same word has different meaning. There are also different words with the same meaning. A few examples are given below.
Differences in grammar
These two varieties of English are very similar that most American and British speakers can understand each other without great difficulty. There are, however, a few differences of grammar, vocabulary and spelling. The following guide is meant to point out the principal differences between American English (AE) and British English (BE). Use of the Present PerfectThe British use the present perfect to talk about a past action which has an effect on the present moment. In American English both simple past and present perfect are possible in such situations.
Other differences include the use of already, just and yet. The British use the present perfect with these adverbs of indefinite time. In American English simple past and present perfect are both possible.
PossessionThe British normally use have got to show possession. In American English have (in the structure do you have) and have got are both possible.
Use of the verb GetIn British English the past participle of get is got. In American English the past participle of get is gotten, except when have got means have.
Will/ShallIn British English it is fairly common to use shall with the first person to talk about the future. Americans rarely use shall.
In offers the British use shall. Americans use should.
NeedIn British English needn't and don't need to are both possible. Americans normally use don't need to.
Use of the SubjunctiveIn American English it is particularly common to use subjunctive after words like essential, vital, important, suggest, insist, demand, recommend, ask, advice etc. (Subjunctive is a special kind of present tense which has no -s in the third person singular. It is commonly used in that clauses after words which express the idea that something is important or desirable.) In British English the subjunctive is formal and unusual. British people normally use should + Infinitive or ordinary present and past tenses.
Collective NounsCollective nouns like jury, team, family, government etc., can take both singular and plural verbs in British English. In American English they normally take a singular verb.
Auxiliary verb + doIn British English it is common to use do as a substitute verb after an auxiliary verb. Americans do not normally use do after an auxiliary verb.
As if/ likeIn American English it is common to use like instead of as if/ as though. This is not correct in British English.
In American English it is also common to use were instead of was in unreal comparisons.
The indefinite pronoun OneAmericans normally use he/she, him/her, his/her to refer back to one. In British English one is used throughout the sentence.
Mid position adverbsIn American English mid position adverbs are placed before auxiliary verbs and other verbs. In British English they are placed after auxiliary verbs and before other verbs.

Continents , countries and nationalities
Continents قاره ها ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A continent is one of the world's main continuous pieces of land. (The word continent comes from the Latin terra continens, meaning "continuous land".) Like countries, continents are proper nouns. That means they are "names" and the first letter must be a CAPITAL letter. Even for the adjective, the first letter is always a capital . Unfortunately, even the experts cannot agree on how many continents there are:
This chart lists what is probably the most widely-accepted number of continents (7), and shows the associated adjective and the noun used for a person from each continent:
"Continent" is a geographical term, not political.
Countries and Nationalities کشورها و ملیتها ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A country is a nation with its own government, occupying a particular territory or piece of land. For example, China, France, Iraq and Japan are all countries. "Country" is a political term, not geographical. In theory, all countries are sovereign, meaning that they are independent and decide their own laws (though they may sometimes surrender or modify certain rights by treaty). The noun for a country's language usually comes from the adjective for that country, for example:
In English, all words (nouns and adjectives) relating to countries or nationalities begin with a capital letter. This chart lists many of the countries or nations in the world, with the following information:
Look at these example sentences: She comes from France. She is French. Her nationality is French. She is a Frenchwoman. She drives a French car. She speaks French.

The comparative ending (suffix) for short, common adjectives is generally "-er"; the superlative suffix is generally "-est." For most longer adjectives, the comparative is made by adding the word "more" (for example, more comfortable) and the superlative is made by adding the word "most" (for example, most comfortable). one-syllable adjective If a 1-syllable adjective ends in "e", the endings are "-r" and "-st" , for example: wise, wiser, wisest. If a 1-syllable adjective ends in "y", the endings are "-er" and "-est", but the y is sometimes changed to an "i". For example: dry, drier, driest. If a 1-syllable adjective ends in a consonant (with a single vowel preceding it), then the consonant is doubled and the endings "-er" and "-est" are used, for example: big, bigger, biggest. two-syllable adjective If a 2-syllable adjective ends in "e", the endings are "-r" and "-st", for example: gentle, gentler, gentlest. If a 2-syllable adjective ends in "y", the endings are "-ier" and "-iest", for example: happy, happier, happiest. Some 2-syllable adjectives use the standard "-er" and "-est suffixes", including adjectives that end in "er", "le", or "ow". For example: narrow, narrower, narrowest. most adjectives with two or more syllables For most adjectives with two or more syllables, the comparative is formed by adding the word "more," and you form the superlative by adding the word "most", for example: colorful, more colorful, most colorful. Some comparative and superlative adjectives are irregular, including some very common ones such as good/better/best and bad/worse/worst. Some comparative and superlative adjectives are irregular, including some very common ones such as good/better/best and bad/worse/worst.
